ErGO - Ergonomics Corporate Software

The Lyra Ergonomic software is designed to screen an employee’s ergonomic risk and recommend swift intervention when risk is identified. Employees will find it easy to use and quick to complete, both of which are essential components to ensure user engagement.

 

The screening assessment categorises the employees’ primary work duties and then prompts a specific assessment that identifies the risk level based on their work activities. Once the employees risk level is identified, the employer is alerted to the employee’s category of risk and recommendation for further assessment.

 

ErGo is designed to create healthier, safer, and more productive workspaces by identifying and mitigating ergonomic risks—particularly for those in computer-based roles. Developed by qualified occupational therapists at Lyra, ErGo empowers employees to adopt healthier work habits, reduces their risk of musculoskeletal disorders, and promotes overall wellbeing.

 

Push notification requests are sent out at intervals to monitor employee risk trends and follow up assessment data is used to deploy appropriate interventions. The software generates individual employee risk reports as well as organisation heat maps regarding risks. Report details can be pulled for risk levels, risks by site and risk trends, according to employer requirements.​

Organisational Performance Solutions

The Lyra Occupational Performance and Advisory Solutions team (OP Solutions) has been contracted to provide services to a diverse group of corporate clients and state-owned entities across South Africa over the past ten years.

 

Our multidisciplinary team of experienced clinicians with extensive expertise in the fields of absenteeism, incapacity, ergonomic and disability management offer bespoke, best practice, evidence-based interventions which mitigate the costs driven by employees affected by illness, injury & other health-related issues.​

 

Our systematic management solutions involve collaboration between wellness, people leaders, line managers, medical professionals, and other relevant stakeholders. These interventions include strategy development, policy review, comprehensive absence reporting, early identification & intervention of “high-risk” employees, training, incapacity and case management, representation on medical panels in a risk advisory role and advisory and support services to internal client stakeholders.​

 

The primary goal is to reduce productivity losses, enhance employee morale, drive behavioural change and improve overall workplace productivity and performance.​
